新能源材料与智能设备课题组:面向“双碳”国家战略,立足氢能智轨等国家战略新型产业,聚焦新能源材料和器件自主技术研究,进行燃料电池电芯等新材料和器件研制以及“卡脖子”智能表征装备研制。在科技部、基金委、中石化、广东省重点研发等主持项目的支持下,(联合)研制了诸如双束XAFS等国内首创智能表征设备,实现了万吨级高效制氢工业催化剂的工业示范、商业燃料电池电堆研制以及吨级Si@C锂离子电池负极材料产业化制备等。发表Nat. Nanotech.JACSAngew. Chem.Adv. Mater.Joule、AIChE J.等SCI论文200余篇;被引15000余次、H因子67。应邀担任iScienceCell子刊)编委和《纤维素科学与技术》副主编等。2021年,团队原子晕策略及工业应用相关成果作为中国科研代表性成果入选《2021科学发展报告》。曾获北京市自然科学二等奖(第一完成人)。



 

Dr. Xi Wang is currently a full professor at Beijing Jiaotong University and Deputy Director, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Guangdong Laboratory. He received the PhD degree in 2010 from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS), and then moved to National Institute for Material Sciences (NIMS) as JSPS fellow and ICYS researcher in Japan for 5 years. He was awarded by JSPS fellowship (2010), One Thousand Plan of Youth Talents (2015). Professor Wang has conducted independent research on Pt-based industrial catalysts and established a research roadmap for the "Commercial Catalyst Failure Mechanism - Atom Realm Strategy for Catalyst Design - Macro-scale Preparation". This research has been applied to propane dehydrogenation and fuel cells. With the support of projects led by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation, Sinopec, Guangdong Provincial Key R&D Program, etc., Professor Wang utilized an in-situ TEM and dual-beam XAFS research platform to reveal the deactivation mechanism of commercial catalysts. He proposed an original atom realm design strategy that enhances interface effects through carrier confinement and developed corresponding carrier preparation processes. The team also carried out industrial demonstrations of high-efficiency hydrogen production catalysts with a capacity of 100,000 tons; developed commercial fuel cell stacks; and achieved industrialization of ton-scale novel lithium-ion battery electrode materials. Professor Wang has led projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation, Sinopec, Guangdong Provincial Key R&D Program, etc. He has published over 200 SCI papers in journals such as Nat. Nanotech., JACS, Angew. Chem., Adv. Mater., Joule with more than 15,000 citations and an H-index of 67. He serves as an editorial board member for iScience (a Cell sub-journal) and Deputy Editor-in-Chief for "Cellulose Science & Technology." In 2021, his team's achievements related to atomic halo strategies and industrial applications were selected as representative Chinese scientific accomplishments in the "2021 Scientific Development Report." Professor Wang has previously received second prize in Beijing Natural Science Awards (as first author).
