Dr. Xi Wang is currently a full professor at Beijing Jiaotong University. He received the PhD degree in 2010 from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS), and then moved to National Institute for Material Sciences (NIMS) as JSPS, ICYS researcher in Japan for 5 years. He was awarded by JSPS fellowship (2010), One Thousand Plan of Youth Talents (2015). He focuses on design and application of novel functional materials in the field of energy and catalysis, such as lithium-ion battery, solar cell, C1 catalysis. He proposed the atom-realm strategy to guild synthesis of various high-performance energy-based materials. He was invited as associate editor or board editor in many journals, such as iscience (Cell Press).
