Bio

I am Yuxuan Sun, an Associate Professor with the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China. I received the B.S. degree in telecommunications engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2020 (Advisor: Prof. Sheng Zhou). From 2018 to 2019, I was a Visiting Student at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London, UK (Advisor: Prof. Deniz Gunduz). From 2020 to 2022, I was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University (Collaborator: Prof. Zhisheng Niu), and a Visiting Researcher at Imperial College London (Collaborator: Prof. Deniz Gunduz). I served as the Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking from 2020 to 2022. I have been the secretary of the IEEE ComSoc Emerging Techinologies Committee since Nov. 2022. My research interests lie in the areas of edge computing, edge intelligence, vehicular networks, and task-oriented communications.
